There's no fixed path. The towers you place become the maze your enemies have to get through.

How it plays

The economy is the weapon

  1. Build the maze

Your lane is an open field. Towers are the walls, so every placement redraws the road the horde has to walk.

  2. Send the horde

Every creep you send raises your income for the rest of the match. Turtle behind your maze and you lose the money war.

  3. Break the line

Each leak moves a life from defender to sender. Aggression compounds until one warband is left standing.

The Arsenal

Five elements, five champions

Each element fights its own way, answers to its own champion, and climbs two tower lines from pocket change to apocalypse.

The Forge

When two elements become one

Max out two different elements side by side and the forge opens. Ten fusions, each with its own endgame line.

The Rivals

Commanders on the climb

Every floor of the Gauntlet puts an enemy warband across the lane. Each rival fights their own element with their own dirty trick, and the last three are bosses who break the rules outright.

Two ways to play

The Gauntlet & the Skirmish

The Gauntlet

An eight-floor rogue-lite climb

  • Four biomes, eight floors, each with its own glyph hazards in the lane
  • Relic cards at the crossroads bend the rules of every run
  • A rival commander defends every floor, and three of them are bosses

The Skirmish · Online Multiplayer

Multiplayer

  • Up to six warbands in a ring: send right, defend left
  • Ships with the full release; the beta spars against three bot tiers
  • Every leak hands the sender a life, so pressure never stops paying

Floor VIII · The summit

Take a lane

Questions

Good to know

Is this that old custom map?
Same bloodline. Line Tower Wars began as a classic custom map in the golden age of RTS mods. This is a standalone modern remake: the same competitive send-and-defend loop, rebuilt in full 3D, with the Gauntlet's rogue-lite climb layered on top.
How much does it cost?
It's free to play during the beta while the game is in active development. The full release will be a paid desktop title.
Which platforms?
Desktop first: macOS (universal) and Windows 10/11, built in Godot 4.6.
Is there multiplayer?
Yes. The full release launches with online multiplayer, up to six warbands head-to-head. The current beta is single-player against three bot tiers while multiplayer is finished.
When is the full release?
No date yet, but the game is on Steam now, and wishlisting it is the best way to hear about launch. The beta is the best way to watch it grow: new towers, rivals, and modes land as they're finished.
